Between safeguarding training in the morning and planning ahead for next week, today was busy but fulfilling. Lunch ended up being much more filling than expected, I started preparing the soup without realising that my husband had treated me to a salad from Subway. Rather than forcing a dinner I didn’t need, I listened to my body and gave it a rest. That’s progress in itself, learning to stop when full, instead of eating out of habit.

Reflections
Today reminded me of the importance of satiety. A high-protein, high-Speed lunch kept me satisfied well into the evening. Ending the day with a sweet treat felt balanced, still within Syns, still on plan. It’s not about perfection, but making mindful choices.
