A brand-new week and a fresh reset. Starting with my usual breakfast of fibre-rich Shreddies and a mellow coffee felt grounding and familiar, a reminder of the habits that are working for me. With last week’s celebrations behind me and my ½ stone award in hand, today feels like the perfect launch into week three with renewed focus and determination.

Although Fridays are usually my rest day, I began with a meeting at the DWP this morning before finally easing into some downtime. The afternoon has been about self-care, taking the opportunity to relax and flick through the new October 2025 Slimming World Magazine. It’s good to pause, breathe, and be inspired by fresh ideas after such a busy week.

Reflections

A new week is a new opportunity. Resetting my Food Diary always gives me fresh momentum, proof that this is a journey made of daily choices, not perfection. Just as last week reminded me, planning ahead and staying flexible keeps me in control without feeling restricted.

Today has been about balance. I stayed fully on plan, enjoying tasty, convenient meals like the Lunch Bowl while still making space for a savoury treat with the Quavers. Reading the new magazine this afternoon has re-energised me with recipe ideas and inspiration for the week ahead. A reminder that even on the quieter days, food choices can stay simple, satisfying, and totally Optimised.

Dinner tonight was a highlight, a vibrant tuna salad prepared by my husband, bursting with Speed food and colour. It felt light, fresh, and restorative, exactly what I needed after a busy week. Finishing with a strawberry cone kept things fun and balanced, all well within my Syns. With plenty of Free and Speed foods, and my Syns managed wisely, I end the day satisfied, on plan, and motivated for the rest of week three.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” (Lamentations 3:22–23)
