About

This blog follows my personal adventure with Slimming World as I step into my 50s, a season of fresh starts, honest reflections, and plenty of laughter along the way. For me, this isn’t just about losing weight. It’s about finding freedom, living with faith, and reminding myself (and hopefully others) that it’s never too late to start again.

Here you’ll find a mix of daily honesty, weekly reflections, and ongoing encouragement:

🥗 The Food Diaries

Back to Basics, simple day-to-day food diaries, logging meals, Syns, Healthy Extras, and those “real life” moments from café lunches, busy client visits to church celebrations and cheeky treat nights. Included in the Food Diaries, are my weekly reflections from my meeting between meetings, the official Slimming World Podcast

💪 The Body Magic Diaries

Logging my steps into exercise and activity, celebrating progress, from gentle beginnings to making Body Magic part of my lifestyle.

🍳 Adventures in Cooking

Trying, testing, and sharing Slimming World recipes, from our kitchen to yours. Here I will be sharing the successes, the tweaks, and maybe even the occasional flop (because that’s real life too!).

📊 Weekly Roundup

Every Friday, I share the stats: Weigh-in Results, Syns Summary, Satiety Wins, Non-Scale Victories, (NSV) together with my goals for the week ahead all wrapped up in an easy-to-follow tracker.

✍️ Weekly Musings

Also on Fridays, I post a weekly editorial: a deeper reflective narrative that looks back on the week (Friday to Thursday), insights from group, lessons I’ve learned, and encouragement for the week ahead.

This is a place to be real, to celebrate victories, laugh at the wobbles, and find encouragement in the journey. Whether you’re following Slimming World yourself, or just looking for inspiration, I hope you’ll find something here to uplift and support you.
